Kristen Hastings joined the University of Massachusetts Athletic Department as a graduate assistant athletic trainer in 2013. Currently, she is responsible for the care of the women's basketball and rowing teams as an assistant athletic trainer entering 2021-22.

Hastings graduated from Springfield College in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. She went on to the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy to receive a national certification in massage therapy.

Hastings currently holds athletic training licensure in Massachusetts and massage therapy licensure in Connecticut.

A native of Cheshire, Conn., Hastings currently lives in South Hadley, Mass.
