Julie Schmidt joined the University of Massachusetts Sports Medicine staff as an intern athletic trainer in Aug., 2019. She provides healthcare to the football, baseball and cheerleading programs.
Prior to working at UMass, Schmidt received her Master’s of Science in Athletic Training at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts.
Julie returns as a proud alumnus of the University of Massachusetts, where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology while she worked alongside Director of Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer Jennifer Brodeur and her staff as a student intern for the football team.
