Jamie Goerke joined UMass Athletics as an Assistant Director of Marketing, Sales, and Fan Experience in October 2025. In her role, Goerke leads strategic marketing initiatives to enhance fan engagement, drive attendance, and elevate the game day experience specifically for men's basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, and men’s lacrosse while assisting with football and other events.
Prior to her arrival in Amherst, Goerke served as the Manager of Game Day Promotions, Programming, and Social Media for the Hudson Valley Renegades, the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees. In that role, she led the development and execution of comprehensive marketing and promotional strategies, including season-long promotional calendars, theme nights, giveaways, and community-driven activations. Goerke worked closely with ticket sales, sponsorship, and creative teams to align marketing initiatives with revenue and engagement goals, while also contributing to social and digital content designed to drive awareness and attendance.
Goerke brings additional collegiate athletics experience from her time at St. John’s University, where she served as a graduate assistant in the communications, marketing, and digital media departments.
Goerke earned her bachelor’s degree in English from Binghamton University and received her master’s degree in Sport Management with a specialization in the International Business of Sport from St. John’s University.
