Culbertson[apos]s primary responsibilities at UMass are recruiting of student-athletes on and off campus, planning official and unofficial recruiting visits, scheduling opponents, preparing scouting reports on opponents, monitoring student-athletes[apos] academic performance, working with administration and coaches for facility scheduling, implementing and overseeing pre and postseason workout programs, and organizing team community service activities.
Prior to her time at Cornell, Culbertson spent one season as an Assistant Coach at Canisius College. Culbertson graduated from Central Michigan University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. While at Central Michigan, Culbertson earned four letters as a guard on the women[apos]s basketball team. A team captain in 1999-2000, Culbertson set a school-record for three-pointers made in a season with 77 and was a 90 percent free-throw shooter for her career.
In May of 2009, Culbertson received her MBA from UMass[apos] Isenberg School of Management.
A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Culbertson resides in Northampton, Mass.
