Matt Gordon joined the University of Massachusetts football staff as a defensive graduate assistant ahead of the 2018 football season and was promoted into the team's Chief of Staff role in July, 2019.
As a graduate assistant, Gordon worked with the program in all defensive aspects, with an additional focus on special teams.
The Needham, Massachusetts, native assumed his position directly after he received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts' Isenberg School of Management.
Gordon completed his double major, management and sports management, in three years and received Magna Cum Laude honors.
While an undergraduate student, Gordon worked with the football program as well and focused on defense and special teams.
