Started last 28 games in a row including 13 in 2007 ... Had 49 tackles, two interceptions including a return for a touchdown and 12 passes defended in 2007 ... Led CAA in passes defended with 12 (including CAA-best 10 pass break-ups) along with two interceptions ... 12 passes defended tied for eighth-most in a season in UMass history ... Second-career interception as he had three passes defended at #4 Southern Illinois (12/1) in NCAA Quarterfinal. Also made five tackles ... Five solo stops in NCAA Final vs. Appalachian State (12/15) ... Made three tackles and a PBU at #2 Montana (12/8) ... Defended All-American David Ball for much of the game, limited the all-time TD leader in I-AA history to just six catches for 54 yards. Made five tackles including a pass break-up ... Career-high six tackles in NCAAs vs. Lafayette (11/25) ... Five tackles vs. Hofstra (11/18) ... Three stops vs. #19 Maine (11/11) ... Four tackles at Northeastern (10/28) ... Before UMass: Fast defensive back and returner who played at Huguenot High School in Richmond, Va. ... Ranked 18th best player in all of Virginia and 47th best defensive back in the nation ...
