• Pro-style quarterback from St. Edward High School where he played for head coach Tom Lombardo
• Helped St. Edward defeat Colerain High School, 24-10 in the OHSAA Division I Championship with a perfect 12-for-12 passing performance for 150 yards and two touchdowns as well as 74 yards rushing
• Rushed for more than 1,000 yards during his senior season during which he earned Sun News Best of the Best Honorable Mention
