Jared Mostowsky joined the University of Massachusetts Athletics staff as the football program's equipment manager in July, 2019. Mostowsky brought a wealth of experience in the football equipment realm to the Commonwealth with his arrival, including an extended tenure with Rutgers' football team spanning seven-and-a-half years.

At the University of Massachusetts, Mostowsky is responsible for all oversight of UMass football equipment issued to student-athletes and staff members. He outfits and repairs equipment for the roster of approximately 125 competitors and is responsible for team-issued gear given to student-athletes, coaches and administrative staff during road games, as well as the organization of the team's equipment semi-trailer truck.

Mostowsky accrued his seven-plus years of experience at Rutgers as an undergraduate student manager, football operations intern and assistant equipment manager from Feb., 2011 through July, 2018.

As an undergraduate student manager for Rutgers football beginning in Feb., 2011, Mostowsky learned the ins-and-outs of equipment operations while assisting the Scarlet Knights' staff in all facets of daily program procedures. Mostowsky was later elevated into the role of football operations intern for Aug. - Dec., 2014 prior to his graduation from the university with a bachelor's degree in sports management.

Following his graduation, Mostowsky remained at Rutgers and shifted into an assistant equipment manager role with the football program. His duties with Rutgers included helping the head of equipment operations with the organization of all team gear at home and on the road, as well as the coordination of on-field practice equipment, gameday locker room setup and inventory oversight.

Following his work with the football program at Rutgers, Mostowsky held the role of assistant equipment manager with the Alliance of American Football's (AAF) San Diego Fleet organization from Nov., 2018 through his hiring at UMass.

Throughout his tenure at Rutgers as a student and professional, Mostowsky served as a firefighter with the East Freehold Fire Company for more than eight years in-total.
