A Salute To UMass Athletics Alumni Association event to take place on Sept. 29.

The University of Massachusetts Amherst Alumni Association has announced the 2003 Salute to UMass Athletics. The event will take place on Monday, September 29, at the Colonnade hotel in Boston.

Featured guest speakers scheduled for the event are head hockey coach Don "Toot" Cahoon, head softball coach Elaine Sortino and head football coach Mark Whipple.

The event includes a silent auctionfrom 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a cash bar and buffet from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The cost of the event is $70.00 for alumni association members, $90.00 for non-members and $50.00 for young alumni (classes 1993-2003).
