Nine UMass Student-Athletes Earn Spring Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference Honors

AMHERST, Mass. - Nine University of Massachusetts student-athletes recently garnered Atlantic 10 All-Conference honors for the spring season.
Among those cited, is senior Ben Baraldi (Longmeadow, Mass.), who was also honored as the Atlantic 10 Men's Outdoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Year. Baraldi was UMass' top hurdler this season, closing out the season at the IC4A Championships with a career-best 110-meter performance of 14.31, which is also the second-fastest time ever in Minuteman history. He was named to the GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-District first team this season after being a second-team pick a year ago, and has garnered Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team honors on five occassions.
