Public Invited To UMass Class Of 2000 Athletic Hall Of Fame Activities

Amherst, Mass. - The 2000 Class of the University of Massachusetts Athletic Hall of Fame will be honored at two events here this weekend.
This year's class includes baseball standouts Mike Flanagan ('75) and Jeff Reardon ('77), women's gymnast Anne Vexler ('74), women's soccer team member Kristen Bowsher ('88), football player Bruce Kimball ('79) and men's lacrosse star Sal LoCascio ('89).
A reception for the six honorees will he held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 5, at the Campus Center Auditorium, with dinner to follow. Tickets for the dinner, priced at $35.00 each, are available to the general public by contacting the Athletic Development Office at 413-545-4289. The inductees will also be recognized at halftime of Saturday's UMass-George Washington men's basketball game.
