It's game day in Foggy Bottom as UMass and GW meet at the Smith Center in the final game of the regular-season. It's pretty simple math for the teams to go after the 6 seed in next week's A-10 Tourney. Winner gets the 6 seed! If UMass loses, it can end up as the No. 7 or 8 seed depending on a couple of factors. First, if the Minutemen lose and Fordham beats St. Bonaventure, UMass will be the 7 seed., If they lose and St. Bona wins, UMass can still be the No. 7 seed but only if either Dayton or Rhode Island is in first place. If Davidson ends up as the top seed, UMass would be the 8 seed.
But none of that matters if the boys in Maroon (yes, they are wearing the Maroon uniforms today) take care of business in a place they have won two straight. Tune it at 3:30 p.m. on NBC SN or listen to Josh and Tim on the UMass Sports Network, beginning at 3:10 p.m. They'll try to give you the same level of excitement as Cody and Brock did on last night's... I mean this morning's record-setting hockey victory.
