The Massachusetts men's basketball team was unable to overcome too many mistakes in Wednesday's 75-59 loss at Rhode Island. Jabarie Hinds was strong off the bench with 17 points (his most at UMass) but the inside game never got going and URI was very successful in transition, capitalizing on 18 UMass turnovers, manufacturing a 21-8 margin in points off turnovers.
