2015 UMass Football Fan Guide (Gillette Stadium)
Prohibited Items
- Bags larger than a 12" x 12" x 6". Contents of all bags will be inspected. Exceptions can be made for guests with special medical needs.
- Any type of portable chair or seat, other than those approved for persons with accessibility issues

- Flag poles over 2 feet in length
- Weapons of any kind, including pocket/utility knives
- Food or beverages
- Illegal drugs and substances
- Coolers or containers, including cans and bottles

- Animals, other than service dogs assisting those with disabilities

Stadium management reserves the right to deem any item inappropriate
No prohibited items will be accepted at the stadium gates for safekeeping. Please leave all prohibited items secured in your vehicle.
Acceptable Items
- All plastic bags carrying purchases made at the ProShop or Patriot Place. Contents of all bags will be inspected.
- Electrical items, such as small transistor radios, small TV monitors, audio recording equipment, cell phones, etc.
- Seat cushions
- Binoculars
- Flags with poles under 2 feet in length
- Cameras with detachable lenses

Alcohol
- Alcohol is served at Gillette Stadium throughout the concourse as well as in the Putnam Club. There is a full bar available in the Putnam Club.
Artificial Noise Makers
- Artificial noise makers such as whistles, horns, and thunder sticks are not permitted at Gillette Stadium during UMass football games.
- Listed under prohibited items (may be subject to change per event).
ATM Machines
- Accessible Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) are located on every level in the stadium. There are six (6) Bank of America ATMs in the stadium; four (4) on the Main Concourse, and two (2) on the Upper Concourse; additionally one (1) Bank of America ATM is located outside of the ProShop.

Band Performances
- The UMass Minutemen Marching Band will perform during all pregame and halftime, all well as postgame based on field availability.
- The annual Band Day is open to schools in New England and will be held October 24 at Gillette Stadium

Bathrooms
- Bathrooms and family restrooms are located on every level of the stadium.
Cameras
- Cameras with detachable lenses are acceptable.
- Video cameras and tripods are prohibited.
Changing Tables
- Family restrooms are located on every level of the stadium.
Children's Activities
- The Kid's Zone at MinuteFan Park will be located in the plaza just outside the Gillette Stadium ProShop. MinuteFan Park will consist of inflatable bounce houses, obstacle courses, music, and much more.

Directions
- From Boston o Take 93 south to 95 south. On 95 take exit 9 (Wrentham) to Route 1 south. Follow Route 1 South. Gillette will be 3 miles ahead on the left.
- From Western Massachusetts, Northern Connecticut, Vermont, and Upstate New York
- Take I-90 (Mass Turnpike) to 495 south. Take exit 14A onto Route 1 north. The stadium is about four miles ahead on your right.
- From Cape Cod
- 495 north to exit 14A onto Route 1 north. The stadium is about four miles ahead on your right.
- From Maine, New Hampshire:
- Take 128 south to 95 south. Take exit 9 onto Route 1 south. Gillette will be 3 miles ahead on the left.
- From Southern Connecticut, Rhode Island:
- 95 north to 495 north. Take exit 14A onto Route 1 north. Follow Route 1. The stadium is about four miles ahead on your right.
Emergency Procedure
- Gillette Stadium personnel have been trained in proper emergency preparedness.
Gates Open
- Stadium gates will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
- Parking lots will open 3 hours prior to kickoff.
Gillette Stadium Ticket Office Hours
- Normal Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
- UMass Game Days: Three (3) hours prior to kick-off through halftime
Glass Containers
- Glass bottles are prohibited from the parking lots and tailgating areas.
Lost and Found
- Any lost items that are turned in during an event may be found at the Guest Service booths located on the 100 level concourse 50-yard/midfield line.
- Items not claimed during or immediately following an event will be brought to Security Command 508-384-9205.
Merchandise
- UMass apparel and other branded items will be sold on game days at Gillette Stadium.

- All parking will be FREE for UMass Football games and will open 3 hours prior to kickoff.

- Banners and flags may be prohibited due to space availability, banner or flag size, interference with other fans or message content.

- Smoking is prohibited in Gillette Stadium
Tailgating
- Tailgating will be permitted beginning 3 hours prior to kickoff. UMass season ticket holders will be permitted to tailgate for 1 hour following the completion of the game.

Will Call
- The Will call window is located at the Gillette Stadium Ticket Office. It will open three (3) hours prior to kick-off through halftime. • For more info, click here
