Former UMass field hockey and women's lacrosse all-time great Lisa                    (Griswold) Lindley was elected to the U.S. Lacrosse Connecticut Hall of Fame                    back in January - Darien Times Sports Editor Steven Buono caught up with                    Lindley to discuss the honor and her successes as a player and coach.
                    
She was a three-time all-American on the field hockey and lacrosse squads at UMass, went on to play for the U.S. Women's Lacrosse Team from 1986-1992, and was a member of the World Cup Lacrosse Team in 1989. Since then she has a 347-70 record in 21 years of coaching Darien High School and has been Connecticut Coach of the Year six times.
