Nicholas Casale of the Daily Collegian has a recap of the UMass women's lacrosse team's dramatic double-overtime 7-6 win against UConn yesterday at McGuirk Stadium. Freshman Holly Turner notched the game-winning goal just 54 seconds into the sudden-death second overtime period improving UMass to 2-0 on the season.
