UMass field hockey has three student-athletes participating in the 2013 Junior World Cup, which kicked off with eight games in Monchengladbach, Germany, on Saturday. Senior Hannah Prince and sophomore Sam Carlino helped Team USA to a 4-1 win over Korea in the third overall match of the tournament while incoming-freshman Charlotte Verelst competed for Belgium in a 6-1 loss to Germany that capped competition on the first day.
