Recent UMass baseball graduate and 2014 draft pick of the Washington Nationals, DJ Jauss,was assigned to the Gulf Coast League Nationals late last week and made his professional debut for the GCL Nationals over the weekend.

UMass senior right-hander D.J. Jauss was selected in the 29th round of the Major League Baseball Draft on Saturday by the Washington Nationals. Matt Vautour had coverage in today's Daily Hampshire Gazette.
