Coach Ron Dumont, UMass letterman, helped start boys lacrosse's winning tradition at Lexington High

Former University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse letterman Ron Dumont received recognition in Wicked Local Lexington for his contribution to scholastic lacrosse as the founding head coach of Lexington High School.

Dumont walked on to the UMass lacrosse team during his undergraduate day in Amherst and lettered as a goalie in 1971. He joined the Lexington High School staff as a teacher in 1977 and founded the varsity lacrosse program during his tenure. Read the entire story through the link below.
