InsideLacrosse.com continues its coverage of postseason league tournaments with a preview of this weekend's Atlantic 10 Championships hosted by George Washington. UMass is predicted as the front-runner once again after a 16-1 regular-season with a dominant defense and several key offensive players.

Front Runner: Massachusetts   
Massachusetts finished the regular season undefeated in the Atlantic 10 conference and is the clear team to beat in the tournament. This streak has run up to 46 games and spans over six years. Dominant is an understatement. However, the most impressive statistic UMass leads in is goals against average this season. They only give up 6.41 per game while the next closest team is Richmond at 11.19. As if that weren't enough, the ladies are currently rolling on a 9-game win streak. Without a doubt, the Minutewomen will be the Goliath of the tournament that all the other teams will try and take out.
