The Massachusetts men's basketball team rebounded from a tough first half to take control of the second half and erase a 9-point deficit for a 78-72 road victory over Fordham.
Trey Davis caught fire from outside, making five 3-pointers, Derrick Gordon had his first double-double as a Minutemen and Jabarie Hinds took over the game for a couple of stretches as he has done at times this season. Cady Lalanne also joined the 1,000-point club at UMass, becoming the 47th player in school history to achieve the feat.
UMass has now won three straight and four of its last five overall. The team also is 4-1 in A-10 road play.
