Andrew MacDougall of the Boston Globe has a feature story on UMass running back Jamal Wilson who is in the mix to be the Minutemen's starter for next weekend's season-opener against Boston College at Gillette Stadium. Wilson earned his way as the starting tailback last year before suffering injuries down the stretch which limited his play. The Minutemen figure to have a deep and experienced backfield this year with four different players having started games during their careers.
