UMass welcomes VCU to town with a national television audience on Friday night. The NCAA released its updated RPI this morning and has UMass at No. 16 and the Rams at No. 24. Doors open at 5:30 and there will be a pair of give aways - 8,000 rally towels and 3,000 t-shirts.
The UMass Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is also collecting donations of non-perishable items for the Amherst Survival Center at tonight's game and tomorrow's ice hockey game.
