Dealing With Expectations
Forgive me if six weeks and 10 games (more or less) into this season I am a little dizzy from all the twists and turns. Most understood Massachusetts would be good, especially with Chaz Williams' decision to take his last season of eligibility in Springfield, but undefeated? VCU would be nicked in the non-conference schedule -- that much was a given -- but three losses that include a 14-point loss to Florida State on a neutral court and a loss to Northern Iowa? That is a surprise.
He has Chaz, Dwayne Evans, Tyreek Duren, Treveon Graham and Juvonte Reddic on his first team.
