Limited Tickets Available For UMass Football Versus Eastern Michigan

A capacity crowd is expected at McGuirk Alumni Stadium for Family Weekend
AMHERST, Mass. -- A capacity crowd is expected at McGuirk Alumni Stadium when Massachusetts football hosts Mid-American Conference opponent Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 3, as part of the University's Family Weekend. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. on ESPN+. Parking is also limited as reserved parking in Lot 22 is sold out and Lot 33 is nearing capacity. Fans attending the game are also strongly encouraged to purchase remaining parking in advance.
The game will also feature the annual UMass Band Day, which brings high school bands from across the region to campus to join the UMass Minuteman Marching Band for a day of rehearsal and a halftime performance.
Limited Tickets
- A limited allotment of tickets is now available to the public after UMass Athletics finalized ticket needs for the high school bands participating in Band Day. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance through the UMass Athletics Box Office at UMassAthletics.com/Tickets.
- Limited availability also remains for the 2026 Family Weekend Ticket Package. The package includes a ticket to the UMass football vs. Eastern Michigan game, a UMass Hockey Flex Ticket Voucher redeemable for one general admission ticket to a 2026-27 regular-season home game at the Mullins Center, and an exclusive UMass-branded 30 oz. tumbler with packages available at UMassAthletics.com/FamilyWeekend.
Parking Information
- Fans with a Lot 22 or Lot 33 parking pass can also upgrade their gameday experience with Tailgate Alley, a reserved tailgating area located on the grass between the two lots. For $50 per vehicle, fans receive an assigned 10' x 10' grassy tailgating space and a nearby reserved parking space, providing a dedicated location for friends and family to gather before kickoff. Multiple adjoining spaces may also be purchased for larger groups, based on availability. Tailgate Alley spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis at UMassAthletics.com/TailgateAlley.
- UMass Athletics will announce additional public parking options during the week of the game.
Gameday
- Fans looking to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, special accomplishment or other occasion at McGuirk Alumni Stadium can also purchase a personalized UMass Athletics Fan Gram to appear on the videoboard during the game. Football Fan Grams are $75 and available in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis. More information is available at UMassAthletics.com/FanGrams.
UMass Student Information
- Full-time UMass undergraduate students will continue to receive free admission to the game with their 2026-27 Student Access Pass. Students are strongly encouraged to arrive early due to the anticipated crowd. Gates at McGuirk Alumni Stadium will open at 2 p.m. for the 3:30 p.m. kickoff.
- Students should have their Student Access Pass downloaded to their Apple or Google Wallet prior to arriving at the stadium and enter through the designated Student Entrance. Student seating is located in Sections 9 and 10 on the west side of McGuirk Alumni Stadium and Sections 19 and 20 on the east side.
- Lot 11 Student Tailgate parking passes will go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. Additional information regarding student tailgating, parking and gameday procedures will be communicated directly to students through their UMass.edu email.
Clear Bag Policy
- To help maintain safe and secure environments at the Mullins Center and McGuirk Alumni Stadium, UMass Athletics has implemented a clear bag policy that limits the size and type of bags permitted inside the venue. The following bags are permitted:
- Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags no larger than 14" x 6" x 14"
- Small clutch bags no larger than 5" x 8" (not required to be clear)
- All other bags are prohibited but exceptions will be made for medically necessary items and diaper bags or other childcare-related bags, which are subject to inspection upon entry
- There will be no storage available for prohibited bags.
