Men's Basketball Recognized by NABC for Academic Success

AMHERST, Mass. – The Massachusetts men's basketball team was recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches earlier this month with multiple academic honors. As a team, the Minutemen rec while five individuals were named to the NABC Honors Court.
 
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs who completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
 
Individuals recognized for UMass were:
Rollie Castineyra
Dimitri Clerc
Jayden Ndjigue
Charles Outlaw
K'Jei Parker
 
In addition to the NABC honors, nine Minutemen earned a spot on the Dean's List for the spring – the five above along with Danny Carbuccia, Josh Engel, Bilal Osman and Dwayne Wimbley Jr. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, undergraduate students must complete a minimum of 12 graded credits and earn a 3.5 or higher GPA for the semester.
