Select 2026 UMass Football Kickoff Times And Broadcast Information Announced

The game at UConn will move to Friday, Oct. 23
AMHERST, Mass. – Massachusetts football will officially open the 2026 season against Rutgers at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3 at SHI Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey. The game will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network.
It has also been announced that kickoff for the first two home games, including Saturday, Sept. 12 versus Sacred Heart and Saturday, Sept. 19 versus Stonehill, is set for 3:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
Wednesday's scheduling updates also included the UMass game at UConn originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24 moving to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23 on CBS Sports Network.
Additionally, the game at Bowling Green on Saturday, Nov. 28 will feature a noon kickoff.
All remaining game times and television assignments will be announced 12 days prior to the scheduled game date. Games will air on ESPN platforms (ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU/ESPN+) and CBS Sports Network.
