AMHERST, Mass. – Following the results of Friday's out-of-town MAC games, the Massachusetts men's basketball will be the No. 8 seed in the MAC Tournament next week and face top-seeded Miami (OH) in the quarterfinals on Thursday. Opening tipoff is set for 11 a.m. at Rocket Arena in Cleveland. Secure the best value by purchasing through UMass Athletics while supporting UMass Men's Basketball.

The Minutemen enter following a 94-82 win over Ohio on Tuesday, as UMass closed the game on a 22-9 run to turn a one-point deficit into a double-figure victory. Miami (OH) enters 31-0. Thursday's quarterfinal game will be streamed by ESPN+.
