Harding Selected To Paul Hornung Award Watch List
July 31, 2025 | Football
The accolade is given to the most versatile player in FBS college football.
The Cambridge, Massachusetts, native, hauled in 20 receptions for 331 yards with five touchdowns in his primary role as a receiver last season and tallied a 58-yard reception, marking a career high, against NIU last season.
As a return specialist, the current redshirt junior added 109 punt return yards, including a career-best 58-yard return versus Wagner, and totaled 282 kick return yards, highlighted by a 32-yard return at Missouri. In total, Harding averaged 66.3 all-purpose yards per game in 2024, contributing across receiving, punt return, and kick return duties.
Over his career, Harding has eclipsed 100 all-purpose yards in four games: Central Connecticut State (148), Northern Illinois (116), Wagner (118), and Liberty (106).
The 2025 Paul Hornung Award Watch List was compiled by a panel of college football experts based on a combination of 2024 statistics, career performance, school recommendations and expectations heading into the 2025 season.
Profiles of each player and information about the award can be found at www.paulhornungaward.com. Players will be added to the watch list during the 2025 regular season based on performance.
Massachusetts Football returns on August 30 to open the 2025 season at McGuirk Alumni Stadium. Season and single-game tickets are available now —visit UMassAthletics.com/tickets to secure your seats today.
