Former Minutemen Rodgers and Driscoll Win Super Bowl LIX With The Philadelphia Eagles

Rodgers was an All-American defensive back at UMass
AMHERST, Mass. -- Former University of Massachusetts football players Isaiah Rodgers and Jack Driscoll are now Super Bowl LIX Champions following the Philadelphia Eagles' 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans (February, 9, 2025).
Rodgers, a former All-American who played defensive back and returned kicks for the Minutemen from 2016-19, nearly had a pick six in the first quarter against the Chiefs. Driscoll, a member of the UMass offensive line from 2015-17, appeared in 13 games during the 2024 season with one start.
Rodgers was a sixth-round selection (211th overall) by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2020 NFL Draft. He then joined the Philadelphia organization in 2023. In the Eagles' recent divisional playoff win against Los Angeles he recovered a fumble and returned it 40 yards to help Philadelphia advance (January 19, 2025).
Driscoll was a was originally selected by the Eagles in the fourth round (145th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.
