WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Massachusetts basketball (11-17, 6-9 A-10)Â saw three players score in double digits but fell 74-52Â George Washington (18-10, 7-8) at the Charles E. Smith Center on Saturday evening. Â

The Minutemen won the rebounding battle for the 15th time this season, reeling in 38 boards including 15 on the offensive glass.Â

Daniel Hankins-Sanford led the way for Massachusetts recording his sixth double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds on the night. The Charlotte, North Carolina native now ranks fourth in the Atlantic 10 in total double-doubles.Â

Rahsool Diggins affected the game on both ends scoring 12 points while swiping a team-high four steals. Diggins is now five points away from reaching 1,000 for his career.Â

Marqui Worthy also tallied 12 points, shooting 6-of-11 from the field on the night. Worthy added three rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes of action.Â
