Kulesza and McKayle Sweep A-10 Weekly Honors

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Senior guard Stefanie Kulesza tabbed her first Atlantic 10 Player of the Week award, while Yahmani McKayle earned her second-straight and third overall Rookie of the Week nod, announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.
Kulesza etched her name into the Massachusetts record books in a 72-52 win over Duquesne on Wednesday, grabbing a career-high 22 rebounds including 18 in the first half. This is the highest rebound total by an A-10 player this year and ties the fourth-best single-game rebounding performance by a Minutewoman, becoming the first since Maggie Mulligan (2017) to reach this mark. The Senior added 14 points and three assists, netting 4-8 attempts from the field. The Wilmington, Del. native followed up with 10 points, five rebounds, two steals, and two blocks against George Mason on the road.Â
McKayle scored 13 points and grabbed five rebounds in the Minutewomen's 72-52 win over Duquesne on the road.
