2025-26 Massachusetts Track And Field Schedule Revealed

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts track & field has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 indoor and ourdoor seasons. UMass will kick off its indoor campaign at the Harvard Classic on Saturday, December 6.
The Minutemen and Minutewomen will then return to Harvard on January 17 for the Beantown Challenge, followed by the Scarlet and White Meet at Boston University on January 24. They will close out the month at both the BU Terrier Invitational from January 30–31 (Women – Friday, Men – Saturday) and the Harvard Invitational on those same days (Men – Friday, Women – Saturday).
UMass will compete at Boston University two more times: the ECAC/IC4A Championships on February 6–7, and the Valentine Invitational on February 13–14 (Men – Friday, Women – Saturday), all held at BU's Track and Tennis Center.
The team then heads to the URI Coaches Invite on February 14, the Brown Invitational on February 21, and the MAC Championships hosted by Central Michigan on February 27–28. The indoor season concludes at the New England Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center, March 6–7.
UMass will open the 2026 outdoor season at the USF Alumni Invitational on March 20–21 in Tampa, Florida. The Minutemen and Minutewomen will then host their first home meet of the year, the UMass Flagship First, on March 28 in Amherst.
The next two weekends feature consecutive road competitions: the UConn Dog Fight on April 4 in Storrs, Conn., followed by the Friar Invitational at Providence College on April 10. UMass returns home the next day for the UMass Commonwealth Invite on April 11.
Action continues with back-to-back meets at UConn and Georgia Tech on April 17–18 as the squad splits between Storrs, Connecticut and Atlanta, Georgia.
Select athletes will then head to Philadelphia for Penn Relays, held April 23–25, followed by the team's final home meet, the Ken O'Brien Championship Prep, on April 25, which will be Senior Day.
UMass will then split its athletes between the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton on May 1–2, and Northeastern's Jay Carisella Coaches Invite on May 2 in Dedham, Mass. Championship competition begins with the New England Championships at Southern Connecticut State on May 8–9, followed by the MAC Championship at Ball State in Muncie, Ind. from May 14–16.
The outdoor postseason concludes with the NCAA East Preliminary Championships, hosted by the University of Kentucky in Lexington, from May 27–30.
