Massachusetts Men's Track And Field Completes Day One Of Black & Gold Invitational

ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Massachusetts men's track and field team opened up the 2023 outdoor season on Friday at the UCF Black & Gold Invitational.

Highlights from Competition:

  • Godot Gaskins picked up a 22nd place finish in the 200 meter dash in 21.71 seconds. Michael Harden finished behind him, clocking a time of 21.92 seconds.

  • Joseph Duggan took 13th in shot put with a 48' 10.75" throw.

  • Duggan was the top finisher for the Minutemen in the discus, throwing 134' 2" for 20th place.

  • Harden took 15th place in long jump with a 22' 7.75" leap.
     

The Minutemen will continue competing in the Black & Gold Invitational tomorrow, Sat. March 18, as they wrap up the two-day meet. Tomorrow's events begin at 9 a.m.
