Massachusetts Football Adds Two More Transfers

AMHERST, Mass. – Head coach Don Brown and the University of Massachusetts football staff have added JB Brown and Jerry Roberts Jr. to its incoming class of transfer student-athletes, bringing the total to 15.

Among the 15 transfers, seven are on the offensive side of the ball while eight are on the defensive side.

Previously, Brown announced the signing of six student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on the first day of the December Early Signing Period (Dec. 21), and then followed with the announcement of 13 incoming transfer student-athletes on Feb. 1.

Before joining Arizona, played 20 games at Bowling Green from 2018-20
Started all five games for the Falcons in 2020
Was third on the team with 32 tackles, adding one tackle for loss
Attended Cathedral Prep and earned All-State and District 10 All-Star honors following his junior and senior seasons
As a senior, made 90 tackles (11 for loss) and added two interceptions
As a junior, posted 110 tackles (13 for loss) with another two interceptions
Scored three defensive touchdowns
Helped lead 2016 team to 14-0 record and PIAA Class 4A state championship and he had a team-high 12 tackles (3.5 for loss) in the title game

Has two brothers, Jyree and Tarion and one sister, Tais
His younger brother, Jyree signed with the Minutemen during the early signing period (December 2022)
