Massachusetts Men's Track And Field Records Three Top-Three Finishes At Battle In Beantown

Shane Grant ran to No. 3 all-time in the 800-meter run on Saturday.
Highlights from Competition:

Nasir Perry took fifth place in the 60-meter hurdles, running a time of 8.20 seconds.

Godot Gaskins ran to sixth place in the 400-meter dash in 49.70 seconds. Mojuba Shonekan followed in eighth place (50.94 seconds).

Grant's runner-up 800-meter run time of 1:52.27 is now the No. 3 all-time performance in the event at UMass.

Will Kenney took second in the 3,000-meter run in 8:19.15.

Michael Harden leapt to sixth in long jump, recording a 21' 0.5" mark.

Joseph Duggan threw 49' 9" in the Jarred Rome shot put, good for seventh place.

Joachim Ennoo claimed third in triple jump with a mark of 45' 4.5".
The Minutemen return to action on Friday, Jan. 27 at the UMass Lowell Speed Challenge at the TRACK at New Balance, and Saturday, Jan. 28 at the ohn Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University.
