CJ Kolodziey Earns All-New England Honors

Kolodziey was selected as the team’s punter
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts sophomore punter CJ Kolodziey has been named to the New England Football Writers Association's 2022 All-New England Team.
A native of nearby Longmeadow, Massachusetts, Kolodziey steadily improved throughout the season which marked his first as UMass' punter. He totaled 80 punts for 2,945 yards, averaging 36.6 yards per punt. He added two career-long 55-yard punts at Eastern Michigan (Oct. 10) and versus Buffalo (Oct. 15) and achieved 50-plus yard punts seven times. The sophomore punted inside-the-20 a total of 17 times and did not have a punt blocked.
Kolodziey also handled kickoff duty for the Minutemen, averaging 59 yards on his 39 kickoffs.
The All-New England team honored the best FBS and FCS players by position in New England from the 2022 season with 35 total players representing all 16 Division I colleges and universities.
