Football Begins Second Full Week Of Preseason Practice

Minutemen travel to Rutgers on Fri., Aug. 30; host Southern Illinois for first home game on Sat., Sept. 7
AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts football begins its second full week of preseason practice on Mon., Aug. 12 with a team scrimmage at McGurik Alumni Stadium at 1:30 p.m. All preseason practices are open for viewing by the public from the McGuirk Alumni Stadium East and West Grandstands.
After an off-day on Tues., Aug. 13, UMass resumes its 5-7 p.m. practice regiments through Fri., Aug. 16. Practice shifts to 9:25 a.m. beginning on Sat., Aug. 17 with an off-day on Mon., Aug. 19.
Photos and videos from selected practices will be available on the team's official social media channels throughout training camp. Follow Massachusetts football on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook (@UMassFootball).
Single game, season, group and homecoming ticket packages for the 2019 football season are available currently. Season tickets are available for $120 per ticket while individual group ticket discounts for 10 or more are also available. UMass Athletics is also offering a Homecoming weekend ticket package, which features admission to UMass hockey against AIC on Friday evening and UMass football vs. UConn on Saturday, along with a parking pass for football (parking at hockey is complimentary) for $35.
