Saturday's Football Fan Experiences: Military Appreciation Day & Band Day

AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts football program plays at McGuirk Alumni Stadium next on Sat., Nov. 2 as the Minutemen host the Liberty Flames for a Noon-time kickoff. The game marks two annual celebrations at McGuirk Alumni Stadium as it serves to host Military Appreciation Day as well as Band Day.

9:50 AM – MINUTEMAN MARCH

In its new location, the Minuteman March begins at the Northwest corner of the Bernie Dallas Mall
Arrive by 9:45 a.m. to ensure your place in line to welcome the team prior to the game

10:30 AM – McGUIRK ALUMNI STADIUM GATES OPEN

10:30 AM – COMMONWEALTH CLUB OPENS

Single game passes available on a first come first serve basis (limited number)

10:45 AM – PREGAME SPIRIT PERFORMANCE

Catch the UMass Athletics Cheerleaders and the UMass Minuteman Marching Band at the Bernie Dallas Mall for a pregame performance setting the stage for the day's big event

HALFTIME – BAND DAY PERFORMANCE

The Power and Class of New England is joined by HS Bands from all over the northeast for this once a year, unique performance
