LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Massachusetts wide receiver, running back and return specialist Andy Isabella earned selection to his third watch list with the unveiling of candidates for the 2018 Paul Hornung Award presented by Texas Roadhouse, as announced by the Louisville Sports Commissioner on Wednesday. Isabella is also a candidate for the Biletnikoff Award, given annually to the country's top collegiate receiver, and a Wuerrfel Trophy Watch List selection, which recognizes a combination of community service, athletic success and academic commitment.
Isabella posted an average of 107.6 all-purpose yards per game during his junior season in 2017, split between his roles as a wide receiver, running back and kick and punt return specialist. He provided 100 or more all-purpose yards on seven occasions: Hawai'i (108), Coastal Carolina (120), Old Dominion (150), Mississippi State (163), Maine (168), BYU (119) and FIU (112).
The Mayfield, Ohio, native hauled in career highs of 65 receptions, 1,020 receiving yards and 10 touchdown catches in his primary role as the team's top receiver.
