UMass Football Holds Annual Pro Day At McGuirk Alumni Stadium

Former Minutemen showcase talents for NFL scouts
AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts football hosted its annual Pro Day at McGuirk Alumni Stadium on Thursday morning. A dozen NFL scouts put the 15 former UMass football student-athletes through a battery of drills, including the bench press, standing vertical jump, long jump, 40-yard dash and a host of position-specific activities.
Participating Minutemen included Ali Ali-Musa, Nick Berus, Colbert Calhoun, Da'Sean Downey, Sha-Ki Holines, Roderick Jones, Jr., Malik Lee, Andrew Libby, Logan Laurent, Tedrick Lowery, Jesse Monteiro, Jackson Porter, John Robinson-Woodgett, Matt Tuleja and Jalen Williams. In addition to the UMass football participants, the day was open to select regional student-athletes from the programs at AIC, Amherst College, Bentley University, Springfield College and Stonehill College.
The Minutemen return to their spring practice routine following the completion of the 2018 UMass Football Pro Day. Fans can catch the team at the 2018 UMass Football Spring Game on Fri., April 13 at 6 p.m.
