Minutemen Run By AMW All-Stars, 123-70

PARIS - The University of Massachusetts men's basketball team completed its first of three exhibition games during its current European tour Wednesday with a 123-70 victory over AMW All-Stars at Halle Georges Carpentier in Paris. The Maroon and White used their range to outpace AMW and converted 13 3-pointers during the contest as each Minuteman who played recorded points.
Massachusetts raced to a 35-17 lead by the end of the first quarter and grew the advantage to 62-35 at the midway mark. UMass continued to connect from every spot on the court during the second half and held a 92-55 margin through three quarters.

- Ten of the Minutemen's 13 triples came in the first half.
- Trey Davis opened the game by scoring 11 of the Minutemen's first 15 points, including three baskets from beyond the arc.
- The Maroon and White built up a 35-17 lead at the end of the first quarter (+18 points) and widened their margin to 62-35 at halftime (+27 points).
- UMass opened the second half on a 22-7 run with freshman Malik Hines tallying four straight Minutemen field goals early in the third quarter.
- All 10 players who participated in the game scored. Tyler Bergantino and Zach Coleman made the trip but did not dress for the contest.
- Derek Kellogg's starting lineup included guards Jabarie Hinds and Trey Davis, and forwards Seth Berger, Antwan Space, and Malik Hines.
