Kris Horn Highlights At Holy Cross Multi Meet

WORCESTER, Mass - A crew of Minutemen competed at Wednesday and Thursday's Holy Cross Multi Meet in Worcester, Mass. Kris Horn, Nick Ingham, Adam Bonfilio, and Greg Copeland took on a crowd of talented competition at the two-day meet and all men walked away with top-eight finishes. Kris Horn highlighted, finishing first overall to set a new UMass program record in the decathlon.
Kris Horn was the top-finisher with his 6,623 point victory in the decathlon which set a new UMass program record and won the meet by over 300 points. Nick Ingham took silver, finishing with 6,294 points good for second place. The score earned him a personal best. Adam Bonfilio took seventh at 5,897 points, a personal best. Rounding out the UMass finishes was Greg Copeland at eighth place and a personal best at 5,826-points.
The Minutemen return to the track Saturday for the Holy Cross Invitational in Worcester, Mass. Start time is slated for 11:00 AM.
