Atlantic 10 Conference Release
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Atlantic 10 Conference announced the opponent pairings for the 2014-15 women's basketball season on Monday afternoon. The campaign will feature a 16-contest conference slate. Each A-10 team will host eight league foes and complete as many away games.UMass will compete in home-and-home series against La Salle, Rhode Island and St. Bonaventure during the 2014-15 season. In addition, the Minutewomen will host Davidson, Duquesne, George Mason, George Washington and Saint Louis in the Mullins Center. Massachusetts will make trips to Dayton, Fordham, Richmond, Saint Joseph's and VCU to round out the road portion of the conference slate.
The breakdown of three home-and-home series alongside 10 single-game matchups allows each Atlantic 10 school to face every league institution at least one time during the 2014-15 season, which will be Davidson's first with the conference. The date of competition for each game between the 14 Atlantic 10 Conference teams will be released at a later time.
