• UMass is now 44-24 all-time at the Mass Mutual Center (formerly the Springfield Civic Center) and 19-4 since 1990, including winning its last five.
• All five of the Minutemen victories this season have come by six points or less.
• This marks the first game of the season to go into overtime. The Minutemen were 1-2 in overtime games last season and are now 57-60 all-time in overtime contests.
• This is the first time all season UMass has led with four minutes left in regulation.
• The Minutemen went into halftime tied for the first time this season.
• UMass set season highs in both free throws made (31) and attempted (47).
• The Minutemen pulled down 48 rebounds setting a season high.
• Sampson Carter finished the game with 13 points and a career high 11 rebounds marking the first double-double of his career.
• With 20 points, Chaz Williams has now scored in double figures in 26-consecutive games. It is his second 20-point game of the season and 18th of his career.
• Terrell Vinson set a career high with 22 points. It is his first 20-point game of the season and fifth of his career. He also converted on 13-of-14 from the charity stripe. His 13 made free throws tie him for 12th on the school's single-game list.
• This marks the first time two Minutemen have scored at least 20 points in the same game since March 3 of last season, when Jesse Morgan (25) and Sean Carter (22) did it against Rhode Island.
• Jack Isenbarger led Elon with 22 points, 16 of which came in the first half.
