• Raphiael Putney scored 17 points. It is his 2nd game in a row in double figures and his 11th time this season. He also picked up a career high three steals, all of which came in the first half.
• Sean Carter finished with 10 rebounds. He has now recorded 10 or more rebounds in two games this season. Last time coming against Davidson when he hauled in 10.
• Chaz Williams finished the game with 22, giving him six games this season scoring at least 20. He went 10-for-10 from the charity stride.
• With his seven assists tonight, Williams has now recorded at least seven eight times this season.
• The last time a UMass player was perfect from the line with at least 10 attempts was last season when Anthony Gurley went 10-for-10 against Dayton.
• Terrell Vinson has now scored at least 10 points in eight games this season after scoring 11 tonight against the Hawks.
