Women's Hoops Inks Nola Henry

AMHERST, Mass. - Willingboro's Nola Henry has signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball for UMass, during the November early signing period, head coach Sharon Dawley announced on Thursday. The 5-7 guard joins Jasmine Harris as the second member of the Minutewomen's Class of 2016.

A team captain in her previous three seasons, Henry returns to Willingboro H.S. after two years at Trenton Catholic. Playing for Trenton Catholic, Henry helped the squad win the NJSIAA Non-Public B championship and Tournament of Champions title in 2010-11. As a freshman at Willingboro, Henry was a member of the starting five and scored in double figures six times, leading team in three pointers with 34 and averaging 6.6 points per-game.

On the academic side, Henry has received Honor Roll recognition in every marketing period during her high school career. She is the daughter of Valerie Henry.
