During the 2011-12 season, UMass will be featuring a "Minutewoman of the Game" at home games throughout the year. In addition to being featured on the program card, the Minutewoman of the Game will also be available for an autograph session following the game.

Megan Zullo is a guard in her third year with the Minutewomen after being granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA this past spring. Megan transferred to UMass in the fall of 2008 from N.C. State and is the first player in program history from the state of North Carolina.

Having already completed her requirements for her Sport Management degree, Megan is using her sixth year to earn a second major in Sociology. When she's not studying or playing basketball, Megan loves to visit UMass' beautiful new fitness center. She says that running and working out are her biggest stress relievers.

Megan wears her jersey #10 in memory of her aunt, Christel Zullo, who passed away in 2007. Christel played for the Minutewomen from 1985-89 and also wore #10. The team's Christel Zullo Spirit Award is named in her honor.

Megan is the daughter of Karen and Vince Zullo and has a twin sister, Kim, and a brother, Ryan. Her favorite basketball memory is winning the North Carolina State Championship at the buzzer in overtime as a senior at Farmville High School.
