Julian Talley scored his second rushing touchdown of the season to get the Minutemen on the board in the second quarter. Talley had ten catches for 113 yards, setting new career highs in both. He also added 144 offensive and all purpose yards, marking career highs in both categories.

Jesse Julmiste is now third in the UMass record book fork kick return yards in a single season with 621. Julmiste has scored twice on kickoff receptions in 2011, including a 100 yard return for a touchdown against Boston College.

Jonathan Hernandez scored his eighth rushing touchdown of the season with a four yard run at the end of the second quarter. He is currently tied for the seventh in the UMass record book for career rushing touchdowns with 25.

Kellen Pagel scrambled for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to cut the UNH lead to six after a long drive consisting of 19 plays over 8:59.
