AMHERST, Mass. - UMass Football held its most successful Pro Day in school history. More than 20 NFL teams along with organizations from the UFL and CFL came out to watch more than a dozen former Minutemen and local area stars. UMass All-American Vladimir Ducasse, who participated in the NFL Combine earlier this month, was the top prospect for the teams to observe.

The pro teams watched the players participate in drills such as the 40-yard dash, shuttle run, vertical jump and broad jump as well as specialized positional drills.

Among the other UMass seniors drawing attention were fullback Chris Zardas, safety Jeromy Miles, tailback Tony Nelson, wide receivers Victor Cruz, Jeremy Horne and Joe Sanford as well as defensive linemen Brandon Collier, Michael Hanson and Kyle Harrington and kicker Armando Cuko.

Also taking part were recent alums Courtney Robinson, Ian Jorgensen, Sean Smalls, R.J. Cobbs and Ben Coblyn. From the other local colleges Holy Cross quarterback Dominic Randolph was the top draw.
